Corvairs were not built in the old bomber plant at Willow Run. That building was converted to Hydra-Matic transmissions in the 50's and I believe is still building transmissions. Corvairs were built in a building south of the transmission plant which is currently just used for storage and I hear is now for sale. Clark Hartzel
