4-Q-63

Means 4th quarter of 1963, typical Packard ignition date coding.

Electrical wire is made by the mile and then cut to suit so they would run
the miles of wire and then cut and finish the ends to suit the application
throughout the GM lines.

Subject: Re: [SCG] 1964 Spyder questions

1) Did turbo cars have a different (hotter) coil?

2) I've got a set of original plug wires off of a low-mile CDN '64. It's a
full set including the coil wire and they're all date coded 4-Q-63. Usually
with other ancillaries, the letter corresponds to the month of production,
minus I , so M should be the 12th month. What does that make Q?

yea, Vairily ... Shaun
