Hi, I have seen customized Hot Wheels that were reassembled using #2 and #4 sheet metal screws. A person can also use one-half of a small two part rivet to make it look more original.

Subject: <VV> Hot Wheels Question!

I thought this might be a good group to ask. I took apart a Hot Wheels car
(Corvair) by drilling the rivet so I could custom paint it. What do you think
is the best way to re-attach the body to the chassis? Has anyone done this? I'm
sure I can rig it but does anyone know a smart way?

Thanks,
J.Miller
