<VV> PG Gasket

I agree.  But the gasket I was given has small cutouts across some of the
passages.  My gut feeling is that the gasket should be solid.

There are no passages between the P/G and the diff.  We wouldn't like 
it if transmission fluid got in the differential.  The gasket is 
there only to prevent the transmission fluid from leaking out on the 
ground.  The.nice seal on the outside of the pinion shaft keep all 
the diff fluid in the diff and the transmission fluid out of the
transmission.
