Well, what I meant was, when traveling the Interstates, where the minimum 
speed is 40, it isn't commonly practical to dip a PG into Low, whereas a 
4-speed can be dropped into third.

What wasn't clean to me in the original question was whether the concern 
was for hill-climbing speed on the Interstates, but I assumed that it was.
