Ray-
I have heard that the rain gutter trim is removed with a taped up bottle
opener. You tape the end that would normally go on the bottle cap and put
the hook part under the lower edge of the trim. Work slowly from one end to
the other and don't try to get it off all at once. Pry a little and then
move along the trim and pry some more. Work to the end and then start again
at the other end.
The Corsa emblems come off the way you expected.
The windshield and backlight trim come off with a tool which has an arrow
shaped end that goes under the trim and is worked parallel to the glass to
release the clips hold on the trim. The tool's use is common to a lot of GM
cars so it should be available in local auto parts stores. Clark's Corvair
has a good picture of it in their catalog.
