Since works for anything plastic and there are plastic lenses in the 
Corvair there is crossover.

Two things depending on how bad:
1) NOVUS. http://www.noscratch.com/novus/number1.shtml #1 is essentially a 
cleaner, #2 for mild haze, and #3 for deep scratches.

2) AeroShell Flight Jacket Plexicoat

- long lasting protection.

Have tried them all and these work.

And for short term visibility of yellowed/hazed plastic lenses just wipe a 
drop of motor oil on the surface.
