<VV> 1968 coupe valve ticking

thanks to everyone that helped me on my corvair, all the suggestions were  
helpful.  I originally had adjusted to valves cold and I still had the  ticking 
noise.  That's when I posted for suggestions.  I let the  engine warm and then 
I adjusted the valves with the engine running. That took  care of the issue.  
As a newbie, I found that adjusting the valves while  the engine running is a 
bit messy but works the best.  Thanks  again
