<VV> Unexpected oil pressure increase

     I have been using magnets on bottom of diff., oil pan and oil filter on 
my Rampside, in trying to trap small metal particles running on the oil, 
with good results. Last Sunday I got 2 more magnets at a flea market and put 
one at the end of the "Andariego's" (67 Cpe.) oil filter. Yesterday, after 
driving it for about 20-30 miles, I noticed an oil pressure increase of 
about 10 psi. To give a better picture, the synthetic oil and filter had 
been running for about 3,000 miles and the usual pressure, at 2,500 rpm and 
220 F degrees was 35 psi. With the magnet, the pressure increased to 45 psi 
(idling was 30 instead of 20).
     At the first chance I changed the filter for a new one and pressures 
returned to normal condition. Could the metal particles previously trapped 
at the old filter move close to the magnet, clogging the filter ? Any 
thoughts about this ?
