It runs out of gas, at high speed or at all speeds, and there may be an odor 
of gas in the oil.  Disconnect a fuel line at the carburetor and see if 
there's a good squirt of gas when the engine is cranked.  If no gas, then 
find out why and it may (or may not) be the pump.
