Ryan, piston rings that are not sealing well.......let AIR leak past them 
into the crankcase.

As the engine warms up.....oil slinging around in the crankcase starts to 
MIST.....things are in place to let the MIST separate from the Air before going 
out thru the PC Vent....top cover baffle plate.....thru 1/2" tube ......with 
hopefully most being sucked thru the 3/8" "TEE" with the 0.062" orifice [hole] 
that is connected to your BALANCE TUBE!!!

Excess is allowed to go into the aircleaner[s].....  Excess  with NO  Air 
Cleaners.....PUFF the Magic Dragon!!!!  ggg

In YOUR case..you need to let the engine run for 1 hour or so.....revving at 
2000rpm    let it get HOT......to see if your rings reseat, etc....

IMO most of the smoke you've seen so far is just S$#%$# burning off......  
PATIENCE!!!
