Has anyone tried using the rotating and flashing LED #1157 bulb replacements, as sold by JC Whitney as Item #ZX479151X or #ZX264308? They're obviously not DOT approved bulbs, and the product statement says they're not to be used in a turn signal application. That would seem to eliminate their use in a Corvair...
