..thanks--the one I have ,does have the 1/4" hole,and I'd like to weld it to the 'dinner plate',and save the 3 nuts /bolts ;I may have some thick 3/8" washers to go between the plate and 'dish' to be early-correct,then shim the starter out for lates ,I'll measure  stick setups to be sure...hope to get a few running good,no leaks,valves adjusted,etc to sell off soon...Tom..//
