<VV> oil pressure sender installation

Mike,
 
I have an electric sender mounted off a bracket that's attached to the left  
head where the battery ground cable is connected. The oil line is attached 
where  the stock OP switch goes. The reason I used this set up is because I also 
have a  Vega OP switch for the dash light and electric fuel pump. Getting the 
fitting  was real easy at my local hardware store. Having all of this stuff 
crammed in  front of the alternator, on some awkward stalk looked like trouble. 
I used a  couple of different metal lines to plumb my remote setup. I had very 
messy  failures that I attributed to vibration. Good ole Smitty suggested a 
plastic  line from a mechanical OP gauge. This setup works great. I've even 
tested it  with a few shredded belts. I can sent you picture if you're interested.
