Hey all...

I posted this to one of the online forums a while back, but didn't get
much response, so I thought I'd toss it out here....

We're getting super psyched-up for Buffalo. For us it's a 2,000 mile +
round trip. And it looks like we'll be hitting the Yenko Reunion in
Ohio on the way (since we practically drive past!). Although the
trusty '64 Monza has provided me one season if basically flawless
performance on several road trips last year and daily driving April
thru November, I wonder what we might consider realistically bringing
along in a spare tool/parts kit. Somethings are obvious, like a fan
belt, but I don't want to horribly overload the car with tools and
parts (gotta have room for the wife's shoes for a week after all).

I have one season on a fresh electric fuel pump. I have Pertronix. I've
heard tell that one should toss in a points plate with points, etc
ready to go..but wouldn't it make more sense to toss in a second
Pertronix? Seems like it would be an easier swap in if there was
trouble. Tools? I always bring more than I need for everything.

So..what's in your "early Corvair road trip back up pack"?
