Pag!   Vairs have a built in windage tray.....many consider it "dry sumped]

The deep pans are for:

1   Extra oil for cooling while towing / using AC

2   To LOWER the oil level so as not to flow into the pushrod tubes/ get 
sucked in the intake stems when cornering REAL HARD...
