I think he's talking about the connector to the body harness. This  connector 
on a LM is almost as bad as the connector on the EM. The 10 gauge red  wire 
carries all the electric stuff up to the dash and fuse block. Any corrosion  on 
this wire can cause trouble. Sounds like you'll need to replace it now if you 
 let the smoke out.
