Well, if GM didn't do it, who did cause I didn't. Everyone, including gurus, can be wrong. Maybe there was a galvanizing fairy running around the Fisher plant :^)...

Heh! That was my observation when I sandblasted by '66 Corsa underside, but a guru on this list (forget who) asserted that GM never did so.
