I suppose it is a bit late to reply to this, but I am reading several days worth of VV today and this went on for so long I cant resist.

While I can't approve of taking revenge upon, or intentionally destroying a 67 Vair' with 27K invested by any means, I understand what this gentleman is feeling.

Those of you who are stating its not the car's fault have never suffered from the terrible luck some of us were born with... myself included. I'll give an example.

A good friend of mine bought a brand new Dakota RT 5.9 when they first came out. In addition to being a rare and desirable new vehicle for a 20 year old, it was also what I understand was the rarest color. (sortof very dark purple).

One week after getting the truck it was in a minor accident not the owners fault. About a month later another fender bender.... again not the owners fault. This pattern continued for 8 months (total of 6 fenderbenders I believe) when the owner finally gave up on the truck, and in a fit of anger decided to get rid of it. His father, who had cosigned.. was very angry at him for all of this (figuring as I'm sure you all are that it was somehow his fault. The father had cosigned on the truck, and being a big car buff himself opted to take over the payments and keep the truck. Two weeks later the truck was hit in a parking lot while in the possession of the father. Laughs and jokes ensued..... a month after that the truck was sitting in the fathers driveway when a golfcart up the hill from his house had the parking brake released by a dog jumping out of it... the golf cart took off and sure enough t-boned the truck sitting parked in the driveway.

The truck was repaired, parked in the garage, and put up for sale in the classifieds.
