Mine has the Spyder dash, too. Lenses are plastic with lettering embossed by the back. Replaced them with glass (clear ones from welding round glasses worked fine and cheap) and reproduced the llettering on decals attached to the black plates. Look like new. No moisture problems. Pictures and drawings available.
Think you should take off the dash, disassembly, drying and cleaning.

<<My Rampy sports a Spyder dash. Looks good in there BUT... the head temp
gauge seems to always collect moisture on the back side of the lens. I
suspect, but don't know for certain that the lens is plastic. The Rampy is
my only EM and I know the LMs have plastic lenses. But since the Spyder
lenses are flat, could they actually be glass instead of plastic? I've not
had the instruments out of the dash and don't really want to go that route
if it can be avoided.

The reason I ask is that I'm considering trying to "cook" the moisture out
of the instrument with a hair dryer from the front side. I don't even know
if this will be a permanent cure and I'm concerned that I could distort the
lens if I get it too darn hot.>>
