Just a note... only the top number is really important... a 0W-50, 
5W-50, 15W-50, and 20W-50 are all the same weight when hot... only the 
cold characteristics are different. Of course, synthetics resist 
viscosity breakdown due to age and/or heat better than dino oils (in 
general), but the real news are the modern viscosity modifiers which 
keep the 20W-50 at 50 instead of degrading to a straight 35 or 40 after 
a while...
