When I converted my Monza wagon to '64 rear suspension, it sat too high
in the rear.  I used longer bolts on the ends of the transverse leaf
spring to lower the rear end.  In your case, either have a spring shop
re-arch the spring, or add shims between the nut and the rubber spring
bushing.
