they probably did not know how to make the link work correctly after turning 
the carbs 90 degrees..you have to craft a new link that is tricky to get just 
right. also is float level correct on all carbs? fuel pressure correct? how 
are the lines made up?  i did not use the micky moyse rubber line hookup that 
was with the kit back when i had one.  when everything is set up correctly that 
thing should scoot.
