When 1st working on Ferrin cars....without the firing order  stamped 
someplace....normally just 4 cyl.  engines...

pick any plug..finger blows out.....look at rotor...put wire in that 
hole......try to start engine with 1  other plugwire...placing it in dist. cap when it 
made engine start \ or crank easier......3rd and 4th ones were a breeze!
