<VV> Pertronix 1 and engine "heat" ?

So true -- if you are indeed getting more horsepower it should run a
little hotter. Also, I would take the temperature displayed with a
grain of salt. I have tried 3 thermisters in my Spyder, all 3 give
different readings by a variance of about 50 degrees. It also turns
out than even the most innocent change can cause a variance. The
wire to my thermister, the heat protected one in the shroud, was
frayed so I put a nice new one on ... that jumped temps at least 25
degrees. I suspect it changed the resistance a little.
So I've just decided that I know what is "normal" and if it goes more
than 50 degrees over normal I would be concerned (it never has). If
I were you I would just consider the new temp normal and watch it.
