Hi,

I've seen many. Most are not major leaks, mostly seepage but enough to
cause a stink when you turn the heater on. It ends up getting spread around
by the fan and attracts dirt that clogs the cooling fins up. Maybe it's all
in what is being defined as a leak. Any oil on the outside of the engine to
me constitutes a leak, whether it is a constant drip or seepage. I never
had any luck preventing the seepage using the stock setup. It would
eventually start seeping regardless of whether I used new lock washer under
the bolt heads or serrated head bolts. Only thing that ended it the first
time I tried it was cutting the baffle and using one gasket. Made me a
believer.

That means to me
>that it is not a chronic leak area, or does not deserve all the attention
some folks give it.
