Well, I believe if you cut the top off of ANYthing, it will look good !

The LM coupe is one of the prettiest cars ever built (and won International 
awards in 1967 to reflect that we are not the only ones to think so), and is 
one of the few that does not benefit from "cutting the top off."

Both LM coupe and LM convert (and even the sedan, though not as sleek) are 
among the most beautiful cars in the world, even considering my bias.

It's just a nice design. Period.
