Tony, 
If you decide to go with the new throttle shafts, be sure that you file off  
the ends of the old screws holding the throttle plates in place before you try 
 to remove the screws. They are peened over (staked) and you will either 
break  the screw or screw up the slots before the screws will come out if you  
don't.  Then you will have to drill out the screws.
