Actually, the aluminum centers with the Chevy emblem were used in '62-'63 and a few VERY early 1964's. The black centers with the Corvair triangle were used for the remainder of 1964 production. The wheels were apparently going to be available in 1965 as well as several factory intro photos showed a tan Corsa coupe with a set of K-H wheels on it, as does the first issue of the 1965 Corvair brochure. The yellow Corsa on the cover had the K-H wheels airbrushed to resemble the standard wire hub caps and the beltline paint stripe was added in the revised brochure.The 1965 assembly manual also shows the option, but a large "CANCELLED" stamp was placed over the page.
