Mitsubishi is made in Bloomington IL. About 45 minutes from me. My new (
well 2005 ) Suburban has a lot of things marked Canada on it. We buy a big 3
name brand and take our chances.

Hondas are built in Marysville, Ohio, not IL. But as you point out, the
parent company, the benefactor of the profits, is in JAPAN.
