hey gang...been offline for a few days and finally able to catch up...as expected, lots of chatter on this newsflash, but unfortunately, also many skeptics as well, most of them noting today's date as the primary reason. hadn't even thought of that when i prepped the entry as i was much more excited about sharing the info. so, to help put the skeptics to rest, i added a validation at the bottom of the corvair-itis thread. link is below, and worth a look to those that don't know whether to believe the story or not.

btw, and no april fooling...checked out a 64 standard greenbrier this afternoon - according to owner, been sitting idle since 1986...a straight, mostly rust & ding-free CA vehicle...104K miles on odo, 110 pg...missing rear seats and home to many sticks, leaves, and varmints...but glass is good and wife even liked it! made an offer and waiting to hear back from owner later this week......some risk, but maybe a diamond in the rough?
