Mike and I did 1700miles non-stop in a '61 Rampy 80hp/4spd with Scamper
Camper from Yuma to Victoria in something around 60 hours. The only major
stop was to repack a front wheel bearing in the parking lot of a casino. It
was slooooooooow going up the mountains headed north.

Regards,
Joel

OK... For entertainment purposes only.. on a bit of a holiday.

What is the longest distance YOU drove a Corvair in one day? This would not

include switching off drivers. But, if you post that, you should say how
many drivers shared the duties.

Mine was to the Dallas convention from Glen Ellyn, IL. 920 miles in 15
hours including stops. No, I was NOT wearing diapers.
