Yes.  I counted 40 registered Corvairs in the central Illinois Corvair Club 
(Prairie Capital Corvair Assn),  casaul count looking through the roster. 
Chicago should have more than twice that.   And that does not count the 
non-members.

Yugos are counting vehicle Make -- fairly consistent on all registrtations. 
Corvair is counting a model (the make is Chevrolet).  I've notived that the 
registrations tend to be for models sedan, coupe, corvette (yes a 4 dr chevy 
corvette,  it was/is a corvair; mis-entered)  or nothing at all.  47 is VERY 
low for Corvairs on the road in Illinois.  The count should have included 
antique vehicles as it is the same database as other vehicles,  just 
different codes.  I work with the database from time to time.

I dont know if anyone else caught it, but on the front page of one of the 
sections of Chicago Tribune, it mentioned that there were only 47 registered 
Corvairs in the state of Illinois (and something like 54 Yugos).

Does that number seem remarkably low to anyone else?
