<VV> shift tube

I thought the main function of the inner sleeve was to limit buckling  
deflection (bending) of the shift rod inside the outer support tube. Without the  
sleeve or using shorter sleeves would not give the shift rod this support and  
add to the shifter plat. Of course this would only really be a problem when  
shifting into 1st and 3rd.
 
I used the thin wall pvc, lots of axle grease and brass bushings, the  
shifter is very nice.
