I may be wrong on what FAN I have from my Wayne 100 marine
conversion.....IF I ever get home I'll check and take a picture....the vanes
are angled?

With THIS fan and a custom by Horning Fiberglass shroud [ see pics at the
Corvair Boat Center] versu a Mag fan with vantes trimmed to clear this
shroud...

AT IDLE....the difference is tremendous....

The Wayne 100 engine / carbs, etc are ALL withing a compartement...ALL air
goes thru the fan.....

The original fan makes so much PRESSURE / flow that the carbs would leanout
above 4000 rpm....and temps [ 2 thermisters ] would climb rapidly..

With the Mag fan....no problem...

In comparison.... the original fan at 5500 rpm has enough force to knock me
back when opening the engine cover!

The Mag...just slight pressure...

Note: How did I determine the fan was causing the high head temps?

When I opened the cover my ladyfriend was watching the head temps ...as I
picked myself off the floor next to her [ she was driving / piloting]

She told me " at least the temps are going down!!"
