<VV> Carb Fuel Filter "Stones"

It just might be the fuel pump. I drove all the way from Southern Ohio to
Sterling Heights without a problem. At the motel, right after I changed out
the speedo cable that quit 30 miles from house, the engine quickly died,
seemingly starved for gas, in the parking lot on the test drive for the
cable. I changed out the fuel pump and never had another problem. Lucky for
me all this transpired in the motel parking lot across the street from the
International Corvair convention instead of downtown Detroit!
