Roger, it's great that you have not had any problems. I have had several OEM
Corvair pumps fail and many folks I know have too. It's definitely not a
solution in search of a problem for us.

I do think that the rebuild process that David Brown has created (he
commented on it on VV previously) should keep a rebuilt Corvair OEM pump
from failing.

Ahhh, the sweet smell of the fuel pump thread....

Years driving Corvairs daily = 31.
Dead Corvair fuel pumps seen in the same period = zero.
Dead electric fuel pumps on my wife's cars in the same period = 2 (OEM
pumps).

Another case of a solution looking for a problem.
