As Frank noted, the attachments don't come through.  However, there were a
lot of early model Corvairs that were shortened in the 60's and 70's.  I
don't recall seeing any lately.  The one I remember from around 1970, was
one in my hometown.  It was originally a 4-door EM and he essentially just
removed the rear seat section.  I don't know the particulars, as I only saw
the car as it was driven around town.  I never met the owner.  It really
caught your eye when it passed you by.  It was bright Canary yellow with
black interior.  He had completely removed the top and essentially had a
convertible. I cannot recall after all these years whether or not it
actually had a soft top, or if it was just a fair-weather car.  This was
sunny Florida, so he may not have had any top on it.  Sorry I don't have a
picture of it.
