i think  real turbo mufflers will be as noisey as cherry bombs or worse.  the 
turbo did most of the mufflin on turbo cars.  heck they were not that noisey 
with a straight pipe on them , except you can hear the turbo whine..
i use old napa renault mufflers on my dual setups , (the ramp and the 
greenbrier) and they are not to loud .i admit i have not driven the greenbrier a lot 
yet , because the gas tank and sender must be damaged by real old gas 
sludge...but i have driven it and run it where its parked . they have a nice tone to 
them. i think there are still pictures with part numbers and my cob job 
brackets on the web picture site.http://corvair.de/n2vzd/   i went to great trouble 
to mount the brackets to the engine , not the body. so far they are hanging in 
there...
