To respond to the question on Corvair Inventory of Original Owners-I ordered
my 63 Spyder convertible new in East St. Louis, IL on May 9, 1963 for a
total cost of $3,223.58. I have the original sales quote, sales contract,
title and pics when it was new. Drove it 14 years and shared it with
varmints in a machine shed for more than 20. Restoration took more than 6
years, but it runs and drives like it did when it was new.
