The two problems I have had with leaking air past the threads are:
 
1. It reduces the amount of vacuum you get.
2. You have to guess when the brakes are actually bled.

capacity to handle it.  I've uset the Mity-Vac for over twenty years  on many 
brake systems, have always ignored the tiny bubbles, and have  always had 
good brakes after bleeding.  A bubble problem doesn't  exist.
