GMC didn't come out w/a van until 1965, and Chevy had basically the same 
thing...if you're talking about a front-engined water-pumper.  The GMC 
Handi-van-don't remember what the Chevy version was called.  The engine was 
in a box between the front bucket seats, a 6 cylinder only, not enough room 
for a V8.
