I have not taken the valve cover off as of yet. No changes to the valves. I
have even sprayed carb cleaner in as starter fluid with the same non-firing
result. Thanks for the replies thus far everyone!

Did you change valve settings? A too tight valve will cause blow back. One 
bank not firing is "usually" not getting fuel from idle circuit in my
