Now it just
makes a good target and low, slow, and quiet is the rule.

Apparently you haven't been keeping up with the development of either the
F-22 or F-35! They are neither low nor slow....but definitely "quiet", at
least in an electronic sense!

FWIW, the B-58 was obsolescent the day it entered service based on
improvements in Soviet air-defenses, and of course, development of
operational ICBM's! Pretty to look at down in Dayton though!

Corvair content: The Air Force Museum (officially, "National Museum of the
United States Air Force") in Dayton is a VERY nice Corvair trip from
anywhere in the Midwest....and something to think about going or coming from
Detroit this summer! If you haven't been there in the past couple of
years....you haven't been there! Based on the amount of display area, it's
the largest museum in the world (6.5M sq. ft.!), so plan your trip
accordingly!

John
