That kind of dates me.  Those planes were new when I was in the AF and now they're nothing more than museum pieces.  Ken Clark

Form follows function. My favorite always has been the XB-70. Both were 
from the day when higher/faster meant putting metal on target. Now it just 
makes a good target and low, slow, and quiet is the rule.

-58 first flight was in 1956 and computers were bigger than the cockpit. 
Slip stick and good math skills were essential & we have just crossed into 
another hobby.
