..this stuff is/was made for hi-temp protection against galling and seizing in the commercial sector servicing boilers,etc,IIRC,,my dad used to bring some home from Kodak;the shop man also mentions using it on Corvairs,,and a few years ago Hot Rod mag had an issue w/ "10-20" engine building tips",one was a sparse amount on plugs even in iron-head engines..use on threads ONLY,keep it off the 'gasket' surface..fwiw,I thin mine w/ light (penetrating) oil..Tom Z..//
