<VV> Weight of an engine?

I said a "short" distance. Several short distances over a period of time COULD add up to a football field. So far as I dolly is concerned - great if on pavement. He did not state the ground over which it needed to be transported. Possibly a football field? Or a farmer's field?

Over 450 lbs for everything and that was a bit much even in my younger days when I would lift VW
bugs off their front wheels. A few hundred feet is the length of a FOOTBALL field in case JR has gone
  lala again!!! <GGG>

    My opinion...

2 can struggle the engine a short distance. I think it would take 3 with the tranny in place.

      Another newbie question:

What is the weight of a stock engine, complete with transmission ? OR
Is carrying said engine a few hundred feet readily ackomplished by two average build men?

      Thanks!
