<VV> Center Console/Armest/Cruise Control

I installed Chrysler Sebring convertible front seats in order to get
shoulder harnesses without obstructing back seat access. There is plenty of
room between the seats. I have a '62 Impala SS center console. This first
year console is much smaller than later years and fits nicely. Had to
manufacture a hump to put in on though so that it's not too low. Used an
aluminum mailbox and channeled it to narrow it a bit. :-)

Final picture shows the seats and the console.

Subject: <VV> Center Console/Armest/Cruise Control

Airplane seats have fold down armrests as do PT Cruisers, that attach to the
side of the seats. Is there an adaptable Corvair bucket seat option for more
comfortable driving? What experience does anyone have with add on cruise
control?

Thanks,
