<VV> Autocross in VA Beach

Smitty Says:  Just got back from the "Series of Four" autocross on the Anfib Base.  What a monster lot to autocross in.  Looked like a mini road course.  Dave Clemmons brought his car from Roanoke to compete in the series.  FTD went to an open wheel Formula V car at about 47 seconds, but Dave carried the Corvair banner high with 3 of his four runs in 53 seconds plus hundredths.  Enough to put him at probably 2nd in his class.  The WRXs were running scared.  He should have got a trophey for having the oldest car out there.  Next oldest was a 69 Datsun Fairlady.  Atta Boy Dave.
