Speaking of '62 Spyders, I saw a stunning butternut yellow EM Spyder
convertible last Saturday in Washington IL (near Peoria).  Didn't have a
chance to talk to the driver, but one thing surprised me:  there was a
single tailpipe routed straight out the rear.

The Spyders were first introduced in '62 -- but isn't that the year that
the tailpipes were turned to the right?  Did the 62 Spyders shoot their
exhaust straight back?
